Dusaw

Dusaw makes smart locks and access hardware for rentals, multifamily buildings and commercial spaces — doors where the person entering changes constantly. Whichever Dusaw model is on your door, the operational problem it leaves behind is the same one every keypad lock leaves behind: someone has to manage the codes.

That someone becomes ProhostAI. Connect your Dusaw account, assign each lock to its listing, and every reservation gets its own code with a validity window built from the stay dates — set ahead of check-in, removed after checkout. Where the lock supports it, the code is the last four digits of the guest’s phone number, so guests are not memorizing anything new.

Delivery is part of the loop, not an extra step. A template variable inserts the code into scheduled check-in messages and the digital guidebook. Mid-stay questions have an answer that does not wake you up, either: your AI employee can look up the stay’s code, generate a new one, or unlock the door on request — audited and rate-limited.

The unglamorous parts are covered too: date changes move the code window, cancellations remove the code, failures to set a code are tracked and surfaced, and every lock keeps a timeline of unlocks and changes. Codes you programmed yourself — cleaner, owner, maintenance — are never touched.

Once your Dusaw account is connected and locks are assigned to listings, this runs on its own:

Guest access

• A unique code per reservation Every booking gets its own code with a window built from the stay — active shortly before check-in, removed after checkout.
• Phone-digit codes where supported Where the lock allows it, the code is the last four digits of the guest’s phone number, with a safe random fallback when those digits are taken or unavailable. "Your entry code is 2377 — the last four digits of your phone number."
• Delivered in the check-in flow A template variable inserts the code into scheduled messages and the guest guidebook, alongside parking and WiFi details.

Automation

• Guest control from the guidebook For locks you enable, guests can lock and unlock from their digital guidebook during the stay — rate-limited, and only while the booking is active.
• Codes reconcile with the calendar When a reservation shifts or cancels, the code’s window moves or the code is removed. No stale codes surviving a rebooked date.
• Problems become visible, early Code-setting is driven through to confirmation; failed attempts retry automatically — including the moment a lock comes back online — and you are alerted while there is still time to act.

Connecting Dusaw takes a few minutes and happens entirely in the browser:

1. In ProhostAI, open Smart Devices and choose Connect account.
2. Pick Dusaw in the secure connection window and sign in with your Dusaw account credentials.
3. Your locks sync in automatically with battery and connection status.
4. Assign each lock to its listing and name it the way a guest would (Front door, Apartment 2).
5. From the next reservation on, codes are created, delivered and removed automatically.

• Connected devices are a paid add-on billed per device, and ProhostAI never sees or stores your Dusaw password.
