Ultraloq, by U-tec, sells locks that open more ways than most hosts will ever use — fingerprint, app, keypad, key. For a rental, the split is natural: fingerprints and the app are for you and your team, and the keypad belongs to guests. Models like the U-Bolt Pro WiFi bring all of that online through your U-tec account with no hub in between.

What ProhostAI adds is the guest side, on a schedule. Connect your U-tec account, assign each lock to a listing, and every reservation is issued its own keypad code windowed to the stay — activated with a configurable lead before check-in, deleted after checkout. Where the lock supports it, the code is the last four digits of the guest’s phone number; otherwise a safe random code takes over.

The code arrives without you: a template variable inserts it into your scheduled check-in messages and the digital guidebook. It exists from the moment the booking confirms — the window opens 12 hours before check-in by default and closes at checkout exactly. Date changes move the window while the digits stay the same; cancellations delete the code.

Behind it all sits a per-device audit trail — unlocks, code changes and failures — and code programming that’s verified through to lock confirmation, so an offline U-Bolt is a flagged problem, not a surprise at the door.

Guest access

• A dedicated keypad code per stay Each reservation gets its own code, live shortly before check-in and deleted after checkout — the keypad never accumulates old guest codes.
• Codes with built-in recall Where supported, the guest’s code is the last four digits of their phone number, with a safe random fallback — one less thing for them to screenshot. "At the keypad, enter 2276 and press the check mark — active from 3pm."
• Your team’s access stays yours Fingerprints, app access and codes you created in the U-tec app are untouched; ProhostAI manages only the reservation codes it issues.

Automation

• Door control from the guest guidebook On locks you’ve enabled, guests can lock and unlock from their digital guidebook during the stay — rate-limited, with no U-tec app or account needed on their side.
• Codes shadow the reservation Shifted dates move the code’s validity window; cancellations remove the code. The lock always reflects the calendar as it is now.
• Confirmation-checked programming Each code change is verified against the lock, and failures — offline device, dead battery — are tracked and surfaced with time to react.
• An audit trail per lock Unlocks, code changes and failures build a per-device timeline you can consult when something about a stay needs checking.

Connecting Ultraloq takes a few minutes in the browser:

1. In ProhostAI, open Smart Devices and choose Connect account.
2. Pick Ultraloq in the secure connection window and sign in with your U-tec account.
3. Your Ultraloq locks sync in with battery and connection status per device.
4. Assign each lock to its listing under a name guests will recognize (Front door, Basement suite).
5. Every reservation from then on gets its code created, delivered and deleted automatically.

• WiFi models like the U-Bolt Pro WiFi connect straight through your U-tec account — no hub required. If the lock has remote access in the U-tec app, it can be managed.
• Fingerprint and app entry keep working for you and your team; ProhostAI only orchestrates the per-reservation keypad codes.
• Connected devices are a paid add-on billed per device — one lock or a whole portfolio, same mechanics.
• The connection is a secure OAuth-style sign-in; ProhostAI never sees or stores your U-tec password.
